At the end of the 19th century, the Russian blouse was the basis of any costume. There were shirts with red plaid and striped weaving (motley). They were working and festive, everything depended on the richness of the decoration. Kosovorotki were sewn from linen, silk, satin. Indoors (in a tavern, a shop, at home, etc.), kosovorotki were worn with a vest. For example, the workers of the Ural factories of the XIX century wore homespun (everyday) or silk or red (festive) golosheks with a round neckline, the collar and neckline were decorated with a gold soutache "extinguisher" lace supporting metal (most often bronze or silver, less often gold) buttons [1].
